hello, i am ginny, a dreamer, a mother, a sister, a wife and a daughter.
nature's tiny details fascinate me and i can often be found watching spiders or searching for ladybirds in my back garden. i also grow herbs and vegetables and delight in eating raspberries straight from the canes.
i love to take photographs and can waste hours layering them with art textures until i get an image that feels right.
i play with fabric and paper, a lot!
and i get excited by recycling and repurposing materials into something new.
many years ago i went to art college and studied theatrical costume. i worked in this area before having my daughters. i am now a freelance sewing and creative arts tutor and run workshops for all ages. i love my job! i also design and write craft projects and have co-written 3 sewing/craft books with alice butcher published by David and Charles (FW Media).
i enjoy facilitating in other's creative journeys.
i believe the act of creating has therapeutic gifts and enhances our well being as well as raising self esteem and bringing a sense of achievement.
